New and enhanced local footway, cycle and bridleway networks will be created to encourage outdoor activities and provide alternatives to the car for local journeys
Funding for the provision of a new local bus service that will provide access to nearby towns and the local railway station
Land and funding for a new lower school will be provided whilst significant financial contributions have been made for the Upper and Middle schools
A new Local Community Centre will be provided
The first phase of building will see more than 25% of dwellings being provided as affordable housing, including social rented, shared ownership and discounted sales (25% reduction in price from Market Value) to help first time buyers and low income families
